Tagliatelle Pasta with Bacon and Chicoree
Ingredients
Tagliatelle/bandnudeln 500 gm
Chicoree 250 gm
Bacon pieces 150 gm.
Garlic 4 cloves.
Green chillies 2.
Olive oil 2 Tbsp.
Grated cheese 100 gm.
Salt and pepper as per taste
Preparation
Boil 21/2 liter water and 1/2 tsp salt, add the noodles and cook al dente.
Remove the skin from the garlic cloves and chop them.
Cut the green chillies in fine rings.
Wash and dry the chicorees and chop them into 1 cm. Stripes. Cut the bacon also into stripes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the bacons alongwith chili and garlic. Add the chicoree stripes and mix well.
Drain the cooked noodles/pasta and add to the pan and mix well add pepper powder as per taste.
Transfer to serving plates and serve strewing with grated cheese.
