Banana flower cutlet
Banana flowers 2 nos
Onion chopped 2 nos
Ginger finely chopped 1 tbsp
Green chillies chopped 5 nos
Garlic chopped 1 tsp
Coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Potatoes boiled 2 nos
Eggs 2 nos
Bread crumbs ½ cup
Oil to fry
Preparation
Steam the finely chopped banana flowers adding some salt.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and saute onion, garlic, ginger and green chillies and when done add the cooked banana flower, coriander leaves, salt and garam masala amd mix well. Cook till all the water, if any is evaporated. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Peel and mash the boiled potatos and mix to the cooked banana flowers.
Beat eggs in a small bowl adding a pinch of salt.
Make cutlets of desired shape out of the potato banana flower mix, dip in the egg mix and then cover with bread crumbs and deep fry till golden brown.
