Cabbage Soup

Ingredients

Cabbage 1 kg
Onion 2 nos
Butter 1 tbsp
Pepper ½ tsp
Nutmeg powder ½ tsp
Wheat  flour 1 tsp
Salt to taste

Preparation

Wash and clean the cabbage and slice it finely.  Peel the onions  and chop them finely.  Add the cabbage and onions to a vessel along with butter, salt, pepper  and 3 cups of water and cook till the vegetables become tender.  When the vegetables are finely cooked add the milk alongwith the wheat flour and boil the soup for 10 minutes more.

Serve along with toasted bread pieces.
