Chicken Pasta Salad with Honey
Fusilli Pasta 250 gm.
Red onion finely sliced 2 nos.Garlic chopped 2-3 cloves.
Olive oil 2 Tbsp.
Chicken breast (boneless chicken) 500 gm.
Mustard sauce(senf) 2 Tbsp
Honey 2 Tbsp
For dressing
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 Tbsp
Salt to taste
Basil leaves 1 bunch
Leaf salad 100 gm
Cherry tomatoes 200 gm.
Preparation
Boil 2 litres of water in a deep vessel,
add salt and pasta and cook al dente.
Drain the water, add some oil, mix well and keep aside.
Wash and slice the chicken pieces
thinly. Heat oil in a pan, add the
sliced onion and garlic and saute for a few minutes. Add the sliced chicken pieces and salt and fry
the chicken for at least 10 minutes stirring well the outer side of the chicken
pieces turn golden brown. Add the
mustard sauce and honey to the chicken, mix well and remove from heat.
Prepare the dressing mixing olive
oil, vinegar, basil leaves salt and pepper.
Now arrange the salad in a serving
plate. Mix the cooked pasta and dressing
together and spread in the serving plate.
Spread the chicken pieces over it and mix lightly together. Add the chopped leaf salad and sliced cherry
tomatoes.
Serve garnishing with basil leaves.
