Aloo matar Tiki (Potato-Green Peas Cutlets)
Ingredients
Potatoes
500 grams
Green peas 250 grams
Green chillies finely chopped 1 Tbsp.
Green peas 250 grams

chopped 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
All-purpose flour 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil to fry

Preparation
Soak the
Green peas overnight and cook them
adding enough water and salt. When
cooked drain water and keep aside.
Boil the
potatoes in a vessel adding enough water till they become tender. Allow to cool, peel and remove the skin.
Put both
the peeled potatoes and cooked green peas in a bowl and mash them
together. Add the chopped ginger, green
chillies, garam masala, salt, and coriander leaves and mix together.
Add some
salt and water to the all-purpose flour and make a fine batter.
Make small
balls out of the mashed potato-green peas mix.
Press the lightly between your palms to make them round.
Heat oil in
a pan.
Dip each of
the potato balls in the flour batter and fry till golden brown.
Serve along
with dips.
