Pumpkin Soup with Curry Powder

 
Ingredients

Carrot 1 Large
Potatoes 2 medium sized
Onion 1 nos
Pumpkin 1 kg.
Chilli powder ½ tsp.
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp.
Cumin seed powder ¼ tsp
Curry powder ½ tsp.
Bouillon ½ litre.
Oil 1 tbsp.
Shrimps 4 Nos.
Garlic 2, cloves
Orengano and Petersil to garnish.
Salt to taste.

 Preparation

 Chop the onion finely.
Peel and cut the carrots, potato and pumpkin into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and saute the onion, carrot, potatoes and pumpkin.  Add the chilli powder and curry powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, mix together and saute for a few minutes.  Add the bouillon and cook on low flame till all the ingredients become soft.  Remove from heat and mash the soup using a blender. Add a pinch of salt if needed.

Marinate the shrimps using olive oil, salt, orengano and petersil.(parsil) Fry the shrimps in olive oil and serve along with the soup.
